Dear Deputy Mayor for Epsom & Ewell George Crawford,
Cc: All Supporting CRA Members & Friends

What a wonderful evening we had at Wandgas Sport (s & Social  (Club, Grafton Road, Worcester Park, Surrey on Thursday 17th March, celebrating St. Patrick's Night with a full packed programme of live entertainment by yourself and John Dibley playing all the lovely Irish favourites to include your sing along session.

Your programme certainly added fun with the Irish Bingo played by calling numbers back to front e.g. 45 is 54, 21 is 12. Irish humour with confusion at its best but fun enjoyed by all.

Our Councillor Judith Glover - The Story Teller certainly gave us a good laugh with her exciting stories. (Apologies in the second story teller session, I lost the end on my video capture due to my camera running out of steam (battery power).

It was wonderful to learn £800 was the takings on the night and all money raised will go to MACMILLAN Cancer support. This is a great achievement and once again congratulations to you and your CRA supporting team who always work so well together.

WANDGAS Sports & Social Club certainly was a perfect venue for St. Patrick's Night Celebrations and in time convey our thanks to their friendly staff at the club.

Look forward to more future events held at Wandgas Social Club. Betty & I will soon be members of the club as we plan to join.

P.S. Regret I was not able to capture photos of all guests who supported your great night as I failed to seek permission in advance to take pictures.

With best regards

Benny & Betty

Benny

Great photographs and sound. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and I hope everyone shared the unique experience. I was very grateful to John Dibley, John Wright, Judith, yourself and all the helpers. It made for a real neighbourly social evening which raised almost £1000 for my charity which is Macmillan Cancer Support.

Your film will now be sent to Ireland, Australia and other parts of the world where we have family and friends.

As always, many thanks for your valued help and friendship.

Best wishes to Betty.

George
